Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) officials say that the Champions Trophy will be brought to Kabul for display.

According to the ACB, the Champions Trophy will arrive in Kabul from the United Arab Emirates tomorrow, Tuesday, and will be showcased to cricket enthusiasts at various historical sites across the country.

The 50-over Champions Trophy tournament is set to begin in February 2025, hosted by Pakistan, with eight participating countries, including Afghanistan’s national team.

Pakistan was crowned champion in 2017 by defeating India.

The Champions Trophy matches are held every four years by the International Cricket Council (ICC), hosted by one of the ICC’s permanent member countries.
