Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality Launches 20 Development Projects Worth 200 Million Afghanis

Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality announces 20 projects worth 200 million Afghanis, creating jobs and enhancing city beauty.

The Mazar-e-Sharif municipality has announced the launch of 20 development projects. The municipality has allocated 200 million Afghanis to fund these projects. They are currently underway throughout the city and have created job opportunities for hundreds of people.

Mohammad Javid Mayar is the Head of Municipal Services at Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality. He assured that efforts are underway to implement several other projects. These projects are expected to be completed by the end of the solar year.

Mayar stated that he values the nearly twenty projects at over 200 million Afghanis. He also mentioned that more than 600 people work on these projects.

Fida Mohammad, a worker on one of the projects, said: “We have been working here for about two weeks, and we are happy about it.”

Residents of Mazar-e-Sharif find the implementation of these projects effective in enhancing the city’s beauty, but they also request that the municipality carry out more projects.

Mirajuddin, a resident of Mazar-e-Sharif, said: “Last year, the municipality implemented many projects, and we greatly benefited from them, making things much easier for people.”

Khodadad, another resident, expressed his appreciation: “We are grateful to the municipal staff and the people who have cooperated with the municipality, and God willing, this progress will continue.”

The Head of Municipal Services at Mazar-e-Sharif announced plans for an additional 23 projects. These projects will take place in the city’s 12 districts. The municipality funds these projects with its development budget, and officials expect to complete them by the end of the current solar year. These projects aim to enhance the city’s beauty and development while creating job opportunities for hundreds of people.
