The Afghan-Kazakh exhibition will take place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from October 19 to 22.
Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad, spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, announced that a delegation will participate in the exhibition. The delegation will be led by the acting Minister of Industry and Commerce and will include 250 Afghan traders.
Afghan traders will showcase carpets, dried fruits, saffron, and precious and semi-precious stones at the exhibition.

Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad stated that 69 companies from Afghanistan will participate in the Afghan-Kazakh exhibition. They will set up 80 booths to showcase their products. These products will include carpets, dried fruits, saffron, and precious and semi-precious stones.
The Chamber of Commerce and Investment emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in Central Asian countries. They play a crucial role in increasing exports and creating new markets for Afghan products.
Khanjan Alokozai, a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment, told TOLOnews: “Our exports to Central Asia reach nearly $100 million annually, but our imports are high. Imports are high because we need food, oil, gas, fuel, and wheat.”
Abdul Naseer Rashtia, an economic expert, said: “We are planning to hold a large exhibition of domestic products in Kazakhstan with the cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. The purpose of holding this exhibition is to create new markets for selling domestic goods.”
Meanwhile, last week, Kabul hosted the third Imam Abu Hanifa exhibition, where domestic and foreign traders showcased their products in 700 booths.
