Authorities recovered 14.4 kg of hashish from two suspects near Shahrah Wali, Karachi. They intercepted a motorcyclist in Sato Katla village near Lahore and recovered 8.4 kg of hashish from him. They recovered 6 kg of hashish and 1.2 kg of opium from an accused in Sector G-15, Islamabad.
Authorities recovered 2.2 kg of hashish from an accused arrested in Sialkot.
Previous Operation
Previously, on Aug Aug 16, 2024, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting eight operations across the country managed to recover 38 kg drugs and arrested eight accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Friday.
The ANF recovered 2.5 kg of ice from two passengers going to Doha at Peshawar Airport.
Authorities recovered 990 grams of heroin from a parcel sent to the UK at a cargo office in Lahore Airport. They also recovered 65 heroin-filled capsules from a passenger going to Malaysia at Lahore Airport.
Authorities recovered 680 grams of heroin from a passenger bound for Saudi Arabia at Islamabad Airport. They also recovered 30 kg of ice from an accused rounded up near RCD Road Hub and 2.4 kg of hashish from an accused netted near Sher Shah Toll Plaza in Multan.
They recovered 400 grams of hashish from a drug pusher arrested near Kak Pul, Islamabad.
Authorities recovered 390 grams of ice from an accused held near M-1 Islamabad.
Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the arrested accused and further investigations are under process.
