Afghanistan’s Under-19 cricket team secures victory over UAE

Afghanistan’s Under-19 cricket team delivered a commanding performance on Monday, defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 169 runs in the second match of a tri-nation series.

Batting first, Afghanistan posted an impressive total of 359 runs for the loss of five wickets in 50 overs. Faisal Khan led the charge with a stunning 156 runs, while team captain Mahboob Khan contributed an equally remarkable 141 runs, propelling their team toward victory.

In response, the UAE struggled to meet the target, managing only 190 runs before being bowled out.

This victory follows Afghanistan’s earlier win last week, when they defeated Pakistan by 100 runs in the series opener.

The tri-nation tournament has showcased the rising talent in Afghanistan’s cricket, with the Under-19 team demonstrating exceptional skill and determination on the field, particularly with this latest victory over UAE.
