KABUL: Faisal Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), met with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, to discuss enhancing trade relations between the two nations.
The meeting aimed to strengthen economic ties and explore new opportunities for collaboration in key sectors. As part of broader efforts to boost regional trade partnerships, both sides acknowledged the significance of direct engagement in fostering economic growth.
Discussions focused on expanding cooperation in trade, investment, and the economy, with particular emphasis on developing partnerships in logistics and tourism. They explored ways to enhance connectivity, including potential agreements on trade routes and streamlined customs procedures.
