Denmark Urges Full Rights and Participation for Afghan Women at UNSC Meeting

Denmark’s representative to the United Nations, Christina Markus Lassen, emphasized the importance of full, equal, meaningful, and safe participation for Afghanistan’s women in all public life and decision-making processes. She made these remarks during a UN Security Council meeting on March 17, highlighting the systemic exclusion of women by the IEA regime.

Lassen underscored the need for the international community to recognize the violation of women’s rights in Afghanistan, stressing that these abuses continue to worsen in Afghanistan.

Lassen further stated that the IEA has systematically marginalized Afghanistan’s women, subjecting them to violence and discrimination.
